This course gives subscribers a firm foundation on which to build individual optimal prevention and treatment plans to improve outcomes of patients with moderate to severe Acute Exacerbations of COPD (AECOPD). Healthcare professionals follow along as cases are presented, facts are learned and inpatient and outpatient treatments are explained. Subscribers also learn risk factors that are associated with increased risk of treatment failure for acute exacerbations of COPD and learn to identify at least three strategies to reduce readmission rates for patients hospitalized with AECOPD.
